Simona Haláková

Simona Haláková is a partner in Čechová & Partners with more than 15 years of legal practice. Her professional experience includes corporate and contract law, as well as law of several regulated sectors, including banking & finance, trading in securities, collective investment, e-money and payment services, insurance& reinsurance, as well as regulation of the energy and network industries, mining and geological law and telecommunications.

Simona regularly advises foreign clients, including foreign banks and multinational financial institutions, on various regulated areas within the financial sector regarding an assessment and structuring of their business models, as well as on the implementation of new and innovative products and services in the local market in the Slovak Republic in line with fast-developing European and local regulation.

She also regularly advises various foreign clients in the energy sector and network industries, in the mining and geological sector and in telecommunications on local regulatory matters and management of their contractual relationships, as well as on the structuring and implementation of their business projects in the local market.

In the practice area of corporate and commercial law, Simona has also led and coordinated teams of lawyers in a number of complex transactional projects in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, transfers of business or parts thereof, as well as transfers of assets and business units.
