Following the Council’s approval of the new EU Artificial Intelligence Act on Tuesday (21 May), the world’s first rules on AI have now been given the final green light. So, the official publication of the AI Act in the EU’s Official Journal is now imminent, while the AI Act will enter into force 20 days after such publication and will take effect gradually.
